You glance in the mirror and notice something you didn\u2019t expect: a dark or black line along the edge of your dental crown<\/a>. While this can be frustrating, especially when you had a crown placed to improve the appearance of your smile, a dark line around a crown isn\u2019t necessarily a sign that something has gone wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many cases, the culprit is the material used to make the crown. Fortunately, if you\u2019re unhappy with the appearance of a dark line, there are modern alternatives that can help your restoration blend more naturally with your smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
